EasySecure.cloud - How to add a card

After adding a new user you will arrive in the following screen. 

To enroll a card you have to click on the Card icon in the 'My Credentials' section of the user profile.
You will see the following window: 

There are two different ways to enroll a new card. You can use our USB scanner for card enrollment or use one of the access control / time registration devices connected to your environment. 

To enroll using the USB Scanner:

  1. Make sure the USB scanner is plugged into your PC. 
  2. Use your mouse to click in the field 'Enroll with USB scanner'
  3. Place the card on the USB scanner. 
  4. You will see a card number added to the field. A new value is set in the fields 'Card ID' and 'Card Custom'. 
  5. You can now close the windows. 
  6. Please do not forget to synchronize the user information after registering a new access card.

To enroll using a connected Access Control / Time Registration device:

    Please select the scanner you wish to use to enroll the card with from the drop-down menu. It is recommended to use the scanner closest to your location. After you click the Read card button you have +/- 10 seconds to place the card in front of this scanner. 

    • Please select the scanner you wish to use to read the card in the drop down menu.
    • Now click the Read card button to scan the card.
    • You will see the LED lighting of the selected scanner blinking yellow.
    • Place your card in front of this reader within 10 seconds after clicking the Read button. 
    • After placing the card you will hear a confirming sound coming from the scanner and the light turns green. 
    • Click the save button at the buttom of the screen. The card is now successfully registered to this user.
    • Do not forget to synchronize the user information after registering a new access card!
