BioLite Solo - I can not enter the scanner menu, how to reset?

The BioLite Solo is a standalone product from Suprema. The standalone scanner can not be connected to the BioStar software and the management of all passwords en fingers has to be done from the scanner menu itself. 

When the password is lost and you no longer have access to the menu there is always a way to reset the device and gain entry. For this you will need a one time password. You can generate a Challenge Code from the device itself by pressing a number of keys on the BioLite Solo keypad.
  • From the home screen, press <, <, >, and >. Then, you will see a message that says Enter Escape Code
  • Press 2, 9, 5, 2, 9, 0, 5, 9, 5, 2, and 5 in sequence and then press OK. 
  • You will see Challenge Code generated from the device and tell us the number. It consists of 12 figures. 
Our technical support team will generate an one-time password based on the Challenge Code generated in the previous steps.
  • From the home screen, press >, >, <, and < and you will see a message that says One-Time Password? 
  • Enter the one-time password that our support team has sent to you and press OK. 
  • After pressing OK, you should create a new administrator right away. If you go to the home screen by pressing ESC, then we need to do all these steps again.

The BioLite Solo is no longer available as a new product.
The Challenge code can still be requested but we have to charge € 200,- ex VAT.
